Google Sprout
BRIEF
My challenge was to align the coursework's prompt with the creation of a new Google product. I worked on an app to help users diagnose houseplant issues, leveraging an existing design system and business scenario. The 5-day process included research, hypothesis statements, wireframes, usability studies, mockups, and prototypes.
OUTCOME
After conducting a quick usability test on the mockups, key areas for improvement were identified to enhance functionality. By integrating Google products like Google Lens and Gemini, the design aligns with the initial prompt while offering potential for future enhancements. Additionally, the process highlighted the need to further refine my user interview and testing skills.

Logimátika
BRIEF
Logimátika is a platform of math games and activities for elementary school students in Brazil. The purpose of the platform was to be a complementary learning experience to the existing collection of books and board games of the product. This was my first professional product design experience, alongside another junior product designer, and we had less than two months to deliver a functional platform with more than 300 games to outsourced developers.
OUTCOME
With a streamlined and bold schedule, the project process began by gathering information and insights from interviews. Then, it was possible to start benchmarking and researching. The process moved quickly to wireframing, refining the design, and preparing the handoff for outsourced devs.
During the development, we were also in charge of the communication between design and coding.
Logimátika is now a fully functional platform, soon to become an integral part of the daily school life for thousands of 1st to 5th graders across public schools in Brazil. The platform is divided into three main areas: 1) School Area with dashboards for user administration; 2) Teacher Area, with dashboards with students progress; and 3) Student Area, with math education videos, activities, challenges and games.
